Inlet
Head
The inlet section of the CycloPac® C, named the Inlet head,
is made of Chromium cast iron, machined and fitted to the top
of the cone cartridge. The inlet head is also machined to fit
to the stainless steel vortex finder at the center of the cast
piece.
Cone Cartridge
Made in one part, steel plate is shaped to a precise cone and
lined with high technology ceramics. The cone assembly is self-supporting
and is bolted to the head and the support part to constitute
the CycloPac® C.
Support Structure
A base made of fabricated steel supports the cone cartridge
and the head. Four legs are welded at the bottom of the support
plate to elevate the CycloPac® C, allowing easy flow of
the continuous rejects.
Reject Tip
The reject tip is calibrated to fix the reject flow and rate.
It is made of ceramic or cast iron with ceramic lining. It is
bolted to the bottom flange of the cone cartridge. |

Foundation
Bolts
The customer is to furnish all foundation bolts and piping etc.
Refer to specification and certified drawings for listing of parts
being supplied by H.T.Engineering Works.
The certified drawing shows the foundation bolt size and pitches.
It is recommended that foundation bolts be set in suitable sized
pockets.
Leveling
and Alignment
Install the CycloPac B by lowering it with the foundation bolts
attached to the base such that the bolts enter the prepared pockets.
Leveling blocks should be placed in position and the machine approximately
leveled before the foundation bolts are finally grouted.
DO NOT complete the grouting of the machine at this stage until
the machine has been finally leveled.
Allow sufficient time for the grout around the foundation bolts
to set before accurately aligning and leveling the machine. Check
that all foundation bolts are correctly tightened, machined, aligned
and leveled. If these are satisfactory, proceed with grouting the
machine.
