CycloPac® C

The CycloPac® C is a heavy duty centrifugal cleaner designed to separate high and average low specific weight particles of different sizes, weights and shapes from the pulp slurry, and performs this duty at various flows and consistencies.

Stock enters the CycloPac® C tangentially through a special top inlet head and follows a downward spiral path near the conical inner wall.

Due to accelerated centrifugal force action along the wall contour, low specific gravity material goes upward to the top outlet vortex finder while the high specific gravity material flows continuously to the reject vat.

The CycloPac® C main features are:

Heavy duty construction
High durability materials
Multiple parts for easier maintenance
Wear cartridge for low cost maintenance
High technology ceramics lining for longer life
Self supporting design

Piping

Connect the discharge pipe-work. It is essential that all piping be well supported so that no strain is placed on the CycloPac. Consideration should be given to providing loose flanges on pipes that bolt onto the CycloPac. These loose flanges may be welded to the pipe after the holes are seen to match. Use ¼" (6 mm) rubber jointing.

Before Start-up

Set CycloPac® C Inlet, Outlet and Re-circulation valves at ½ opening.

Normal Start-up Sequence

a.) Start the feed pump.

b.) Balance Inlet, Outlet and Re-circulation valves to have Accept Outlet pressure of 2 ~ 2.5 bars.

c.) Check the operating consistency

Normal Shutdown Sequence

a.) Stop the feed pump.

b.) Close the Inlet, Outlet and Re-circulation valves.
